The Zelos ZX-6 Bronze Mechaquartz Chronograph Meteorite is a phenomenal watch. To start, under the hood is a Made in Japan Seiko VK67 Mechaquartz chronograph movement. Mechaquartz is, as you might suspect, a quartz movement, but it behaves like a mechanical movement with regard to the chronograph hand. While the seconds hand still ticks, the chronograph hand behaves like a mechanical one.

The case is made from CuSn8 bronze. Bronze has the great attribute that it builds up a layer of patina. This is an ongoing process which makes every watch unique. Discolouration is normal with this material. One major benefit is that you can largely bring back your watch in the original condition by using a Cape Cod cloth.

The watch has elegant dimensions that will be a great fit on most wrists: 43mm diameter (excluding crown), 16mm thickness and 49mm lug to lug. Chronograph watches are always a little thicker due to the movement, but because of these dimensions it's still comfortable and well balanced. Of course it has all the things you could wish for, such as 100m water resistance, sapphire glass (with an AR coating on the inside) and BGW9 lume.

The dial is pure meteorite, which means every dial is unique and has awesome stripes and patterns. This material plays every nicely with light and it's bound to attract compliments!
